People were created with the need for relationships. We don’t do well alone. We do need quiet time, but overall, we need others in our lives to flourish.

Genesis 2:18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
God created woman to be in relationship with man. We have a void that can only be filled by serving God and serving others.
Matthew 18: “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
God blesses obedience and cooperation. He loves harmony and peace.
I spent Friday and Saturday in fellowship with Christian Veterinarians who have a deep desire to serve God and people through veterinary medicine. People that understand our “here and now” is to be considered in the context of forever. God isn’t limited by time or space. Such a wonderous concept.
I haven’t forgotten my fitness resolution. Which is to simply be more aware and intentional. When you are busy with life, your own health can be easily shoved to the back corner.

My daughter and I decided to do a “workout” together each day. It’s simple, yet intentional.
My one minute planks (we are doing 2 or 3 throughout the day) plus 20 push ups plus 25 squats are all working hard on my core. My stomach muscles are sore!
Exodus is continuing along, but God has been using different passages to speak to me these days. I think that’s why I’ve never been able to stick to a Bible reading plan. I’m still reading my daily passages to stay on course. Just not meditating on them like I should be.
I’m being obedient to my word to continue to read.
1 Samuel 15:22 New Living Translation (NLT)
But Samuel replied,
“What is more pleasing to the Lord:
your burnt offerings and sacrifices
or your obedience to his voice?
Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice,
and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.
I’m behind on this blog from all of my other life priorities, but I’m catching up. I began this on Saturday but it’s a few days out now.
I drove home from Texas A&M on Sunday. A drive through Texas requires a stop a Bucee’s.

Have a beautiful week!
