Dr. Sonya graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She has been practicing mixed animal veterinary medicine ever since. She has homeschooled all 3 of her children and is in the home stretch of becoming an empty nester. She and her husband, Marty, live on a small farm in south Louisiana with their 3 children. They raise cows, pigs, chickens, horses, and children. Dr Sonya also has completed the Animal Chiropractic Program at Parker University in Dallas. She now helps out animals with additional therapies beyond western medicine.
