Today we are all spread out in different directions. Yesterday we had our requisite pork, cabbage, and black-eyed peas.
Then my eldest, Paycen, went back to college, loaded down with all his Christmas goodness, plus a bounty of meat from the steer we recently butchered.

Today my husband and middle son headed off to a rodeo. Owen rides a bareback horse Saturday morning at the Texas Circuit Finals.

Landry and I are at a barrel race with her young horse, Trouble. They are working and growing together.

I pray that you have a blessed and beautiful year this year.
I pray that you rise above your circumstances, whatever challenges come your way, and choose to focus on living a positive life.
My favorite blessing for you.
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
Numbers 6:24-26 NIV
