We have made it! Have you read the entire book of Luke this month?

We had a beautiful chilly day today.

We rode horses, walked pigs, baked sweets, and finished wrapping a few last minute items. Tonight we will eat dinner and exchange gifts because there are no Santa surprises at our house anymore.

Today we begin Luke 24 with the women finding the empty tomb. This is why I love reading Luke for advent each year. We get the entire story of Christ’s birth, ministry, life, death, and resurrection in 24 days.
We celebrate the birth of Christ at Christmas time, but ultimately this is what we cherish: the resurrection.
“He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ””
Luke 24:6-7 NIV
His birth means little without the death and bodily resurrection.
Praising God on this Christmas Eve for his great gift.
“and saying, “It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon.””
Luke 24:34 NIV

Merry Christmas!!🎄
