It’s a day of sadness for me today. It’s a day I will never forget.
I had just opened my brand new veterinary clinic. My husband was out of town, and he had flown.
I sat in shock with my 1 yr old and my 1 employee. We didn’t know what was happening.
We, like everyone else, sat in disbelief as our beloved country was attacked, and people were killed. Waiting for my husband to call. Praying.
It was surreal.
I’m so thankful for our first responders, who run toward disaster when everyone else is running away.
