Resurrection Sunday is tomorrow. Spring is the beginning of new life on so many levels. It’s especially prevalent on the farm.
Here are some examples:
Life after death. A dried, two year old purple hull pea is bringing forth life.
Remember those red beans we began as a science experiment? They are producing new bean pods, continuing the cycle of life.
This sweet baby Jersey finally has a name… Pretzel. Or “Prezi” for short.
Baby chicks are growing, and we are waiting for our broody hen to hatch her own.
And just yesterday, we had a new litter of barn kittens. (An oversight, as all other dogs & cats are neutered). But how can you not celebrate life?!?
Happy Easter! As you celebrate Resurrection Sunday, take a moment to look around for the new life on display.
“Ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you. Which of these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.” (Job 12:7-10)
Just now got to reading this post, so glad I did. Made my day seeing you celebrating new life in so many different ways. ❤ Love the name Pretzel too.
