Our first potato plant has peeked up through the soil. Today I’m mulching my garden with shavings from the pig barn.
These are old shavings, relatively “clean”. You never want to put fresh manure on your garden, as you risk contaminating the final product.
Now we just keep waiting and praying that they keep growing.
Meanwhile, it’s spring in the chicken pen!!
