At our state livestock show, we have a contest for all high school Exhibitors. It is broken down by species and consists of Showmanship scores, a written exam, a skillathon, and an interview.
Students from the whole state submit a resume one month prior to the show, then proceed with the rest of the contest at the show.
Tonight the awards were given. Paycen placed 2nd in Swine premier Exhibitor and 3rd in poultry premier Exhibitor.
We are extremely proud of the knowledge base and skill set that these livestock projects have given him. He can interview with the best of them, thanks to his livestock projects!
