Christian Veterinary Conference November 2022

I just returned from such an amazing veterinary continuing education conference in Nashville, Tennessee.

The host hotel, the Gaylord Opryland, was so beautiful and provided delicious meals and comfortable amenities. They were beginning to decorate for Christmas.

I’m not sure if you realize that in order to keep our license, we must do continuing education hours each year.

This is something that costs money and time away from work and home and potentially family.

As the veterinary profession has changed to a predominantly female population, family oriented conferences have become a bigger priority.

Last year Christian Veterinary Missions held their first ever conference focusing on Christian veterinarians and how their faith plays into daily life in the vet world.

This year it doubled in size and proved to be a much needed time of both education and encouragement.

The biggest difference in this conference is the Ministry speakers who provided a time of reflection and encouragement in a profession that can be overwhelming.

This conference was such a nourishment for the soul. Everyone who attended made new friends, had a beautiful time of worshiping with colleagues, and hopefully learned ways to be a better veterinarian as well as a better human.

Nutramax is a generous sponsor of this conference.

If you are interested in becoming involved with Christian veterinary missions, please peruse the website CVM.org.

You can support by praying, giving, or actually going!

Many blessings!
