This popped up in my memories today.
It’s blog-worthy.

See this mess?
It makes me smile.
That old dog? A sign of love and loyalty over the past 10 years.
All those shoes? A sign of family and friends.
That blood splatter? A sign of two teen boys who went fishing and a minor knife slip while cleaning catfish.
That hoof print? A sign of two girls who just bathed a horse. (No idea why she was on my carport 🤷🏻♀️)
People are messy.
But take time to see through the mess to the beauty of life.
God looks through a lot of mess and loves us deep and pure.
“Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him.
Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.
Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.
For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.
The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.”
Psalm 33:1-5 NIV
