We are starting on mission projects for next year, as this year’s hygiene kits are all packed up and ready to go the the Dominican Republic in June.
As I was ironing fabric last night, God impressed upon me the beauty of all the different fabrics. Each was created from someone’s vision and ability.
Just as God had created each and everyone of us.
“The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
I am the same as you in God’s sight; I too am a piece of clay.”
Job 33:4, 6 NIV
Each fabric is different and colorful and beautiful in its own way.
Some patterns don’t go together, some fit perfectly. Each fabric has its own uniqueness and is made with a specific intent in mind.
These particular pieces are scraps left over from a different application. But they aren’t going to waste.
They are being repurposed for a project that needs small pieces.
Without these small pieces, the big project couldn’t happen.
Each person on this planet is created by God for a purpose.
Some are big, showy pieces, while others are tiny pieces that complete the project.
Everyone has a meaningful place and part to play in His plan.
You are important.
You are needed.
You are loved.
“The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
I am the same as you in God’s sight; I too am a piece of clay.”
Job 33:4, 6 NIV
