The world is a bit different these days. No travel, food shortages but farm excess, online school, online college, small businesses and restaurants closing or struggling to remain open, curbside veterinary appointments, everyone in face masks, no movie theaters, no shopping trips, oil and gasoline at rock bottom prices.
Wow. What a big mess that a tiny virus can make.
I pray that you are doing well mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Don’t forget that Mother’s Day is this weekend.
I want to share a few thoughts with all the moms.
Mother’s Day is approaching.
It seems so wrong right now that we aren’t able to visit normally.
Is it really a big deal?
Yes.
If you feel the need for a restful day of self care, then have one.
If you want to have a special meal with your family, plan it.
If you want to send flowers to your own mom, go ahead and order them now.
If you want to treat it like any other day, you are welcome to do that as well, but don’t forget that it’s a day to be thankful.
Motherhood changes us.
It makes us feel deeper, love harder, and allows a piece of our hearts to walk around on the outside of our bodies.
We will never be complete alone again.
You have made a mark on humanity with your very soul.
Thank you for being a mom.
Thank you for loving so completely.
Remember to thank God for His gift of life.
No matter how you became a momma.
“I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.””
Genesis 17:16 NIV
You are raising the next generation of Godly people.
You are amazing.
