Sanctity of Life

I awoke to the news of the mass shooting in Las Vegas. My first thought is always to pray. I hope that these things don’t shake your belief in our God. He is great and worthy to be praised at all times, even when our heart hurts from the evil in this world.

We need to share the love of Christ with everyone. We need to teach our children and family about the love God has for every human being. We need to uphold the sanctity of life, whether it’s unborn or end-stage life. We need to be the light in a dark world.

5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6 These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. Deuteronomy 6: 5-9

We must live out the golden rule:
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the great and foremost commandment. 39 The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ Matthew 22:36-39

And we must be sure everyone knows this:
18 You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord. Leviticus 19:18

Satan is alive and well. Don’t let him lie to you, or the people around you. Speak Life.
Love and Hugs,
