I’m happy to be home, in my barn, milking my Jersey cow this morning.
We will head out to the parish (in Louisiana, we have parishes, rather than counties) 4-H barn for a set up and clean up day.
Our local show is one week from today. We will be setting up two barns to accommodate pigs, chickens, beef & dairy cattle, goats, sheep, and rabbits.
Now to clean the milking equipment, filter the milk, and go to work!
