First up, exploratory surgery on a cocker spaniel.
It was a splenic tumor.
The spleen was removed. Now she will be on antibiotics and medications for vomiting & diarrhea.
We are off into the south beach tomorrow. Until then!

Sarah, definitely field surgery in Haiti. Best that can be done. The blue paper drape is sterile, surgical scrub, sterile gloves. No option for a surgical suite.
